Long-term ownership · Slovakia and Czechia

A next chapter for technical businesses.

Teksentra is a founder-led acquisition initiative focused on established businesses in building technology, industrial automation and technical services. We are looking for owners who want to discuss succession or the future development of their company.

Founded by Tomáš Kubinec. Currently seeking our first platform acquisition.
TEKSENTRA / 01A conceptual illustration of technical systems, not owned assets.
TEKSENTRA

Technical expertise deserves a lasting home.

Technical businesses are built through years of work: skilled people, trusted customer relationships and systems that need to perform every day. My aim with Teksentra is to acquire and develop businesses with that foundation, with a long-term ownership approach and a practical plan for continuity.

01Areas of focus

Five connected areas of technical expertise.

We focus on businesses that design, integrate, commission, maintain or improve physical systems for commercial buildings and industry.

01
PROTECT

Security and life safety

Electronic security, access control, CCTV, fire detection and related inspection, maintenance and technical service.

02
CONTROL

Building controls

Building management systems, HVAC controls, instrumentation, controls integration and the modernization of existing buildings.

03
ELECTRIFY

Electrical and energy systems

Electrical infrastructure, critical power, storage, charging and site-energy systems with meaningful integration, controls or service capability.

04
AUTOMATE

Industrial automation

PLC and SCADA systems, robotics, industrial connectivity and the integration of production technology.

05
OPTIMISE

Energy and asset performance

Metering, commissioning, diagnostics and technical improvements that help customers operate equipment and use energy more effectively.

02Acquisition criteria

Our acquisition criteria.

We are looking for an established business with a capable team, durable customer relationships and room to develop. Companies spanning several of our focus areas are particularly interesting.

01Location
Slovakia and Czechia are our primary markets. Austria and Poland may be considered where there is a strong fit and capable local management.
02Customers
Commercial, industrial or institutional customers, with repeat work, a service base or established long-term relationships.
03Team
Technical leadership and an operating team that can continue delivering through an ownership transition.
04Scale
For our first platform, typically €2–10 million annual revenue. Smaller specialists may be relevant as future additions.
05Capability
Meaningful technical integration, controls, engineering or service expertise beyond general installation or commodity resale.

These are starting points for a conversation, not a rigid checklist. If the fit is not obvious, a short introduction is welcome.

03Working together

A clear process, at your pace.

01

An initial conversation

We discuss your business, your priorities and what you would like the next chapter to look like. A high-level introduction is enough to start.

02

Confidential information exchange

If there is a mutual fit, we agree an NDA before reviewing sensitive financial and operating information.

03

Business and transaction assessment

We evaluate the company, management continuity and an executable ownership and financing structure. Terms depend on the business and the owners’ objectives.

04

A practical transition plan

If a transaction proceeds, we agree responsibilities, the handover and how to support the people and customer relationships that make the business work.

Full ownership transfer and a retained seller minority can both be discussed. Any retained stake or deferred payment is negotiated for the individual transaction; neither is a requirement for an initial conversation.

04TEKSENTRA

How I intend to work with owners.

◧

Respect the operating business

Start by understanding what works. Make changes with a clear purpose and the people responsible for delivery.

◫

Plan for continuity

Understand the owner’s responsibilities and agree a realistic handover, including management capacity and technical qualifications.

◩

Build for the long term

Improve reporting, processes and technology where they help the team and customers. Growth should follow a sound operating foundation.

06FAQ

Questions owners often ask.

Do I need to be ready to sell now?

No. An early conversation can help establish whether our objectives align. There is no commitment to begin a sale process.

Do you require me to retain shares?

No. A full sale or a retained minority may be considered. The structure needs to work for both parties and any financing partners.

Do you already own a group of companies?

Teksentra is currently seeking its first platform acquisition. The group described here is the long-term direction of the initiative.

What information should I send first?

A short description of the business, its location, approximate size and the reason for getting in touch. Please wait until we agree a secure exchange and, where appropriate, an NDA before sending sensitive documents.

Can brokers and advisers get in touch?

Yes. Introductions from business brokers, advisers and owners are welcome. Please outline the company’s capabilities and why it may fit our focus.
